I’ve been having so much fun being engaged. Haha. Showing my ring off, talking about the proposal, the wedding plans. Its so much fun.
Vegas was so much fun. The hotel was awesome. We saw Criss Angel in his Cirque du Soliel show. The only shitty part was the travel. Blah. I hate sitting still for so long. I have pictures on my face book page. Which should be public so even if you don’t have a face book you can still check them out.
How Caleb proposed was adorable. It was the first morning we were there. I was wearing a white dress I bought especially for the trip and was milking compliments from him. He told me I looked pretty but something was missing. He made me twirl around and was giving me hugs and kisses. Then he finally got down on one knee and said “Will you marry me, baby girl?” I melted. And of course, said yes.
Anyway, I had such plans on waiting till the end of the summer to start planning but that’s already out the window. We can’t do too much because Vegas drained financial funds but I’m already browsing around online. I found a dress I LOVE. And I already know where I want the reception/ceremony to be (since they are at the same place) but I’m not sure if its in our price range or not. Hell, I’m not even sure what the price range is yet. I bought a wedding planning book the other day. I friend of mine from high school just got engaged as well, and she’s got a bunch of wedding magazines I’m gonna get from her. But It seems like none of this stuff is telling me anything new. Haha
Anyway, I gotta eat lunch before I work tonight. Did I mention the van died and so we have to buy a new car? Fucking sucks.

So my semester is over and done with and I’m back to enjoying a summer vacation again.
Ya know…. Kinda.
I got an A- in my English Composition class, and the jury is apparently still out on my Stats class. I think I pulled a C in that class, and I’m ok with that. I could’ve done better but math is still a struggle for me. Besides, this is the last math class I need for my major.
What’s my major? Political Science. I haven’t decided if I’m going to get a law degree or not. I plan on going into government in Education or Healthcare Reform.
I’m still working at Kmart. I used to be embarrassed by that but I don’t care anymore. I could go to school this semester with no schedual problems and my new store manager loves me. Seriously! He looks for ways to give me hours so I can come in and get stuff done for him. He thinks I’m an amazing worker. We also have a new assistant manager who wanted me to take the full time position in appliances and knock the full-time guy to part time. That didn’t happen, thank goodness. Talk about awkward working situation.
Anyway, other then that Kmart is pretty easy-peasy most the time. I sell the appliances now so I just stand back there doing nothing unless I wanna do something. There were a few times I just stood at the register and studied. I’ll have that down by the fall semester.
Oh! I forgot to say. I’m going back to school full time in the fall! scary. I’ll be taking English Comp 2, Gorvernment and Politics, Spanish 1 [hahaha I may actually have to learn something this time. Dammit.] and yoga.
Things with Caleb are outstanding! He’s so great and we’re getting along amazingly. We’ve really learned to communicate and its strange because I didn’t realize how much of a problem that was before. He’s taking me to Las Vegas in about a week and I’m super excited. I get really frustrated with our scheduals, we only get to see each other 1 or 2 times a week. Every once and a while we get lucky and see each other more. But hopefully it’ll be better this summer and next fall won’t be too terrible because he’s done with classes.
I miss having friends. I shouldn’t complain. Its my fucking fault I don’t have friends. I lost all sense of motivation to do anything and its taken me a long time to get 90% of it back. I’m a shitty person but I’m getting better.
This is getting long. Let me address a few details before I wrap this up:
My iPod touch Caleb bought me is the coolest toy in the world. I reactivated my twitter account so I could follow the Penny Arcade guys, so add me if you’re on there. Lily Allen is good girly pop, Katy Perry annoys the shit of me. If you can you should subscribe to the NPR Wait Wait…. Don’t Tell Me pod cast.
So I’m thinking about keeping up this update thing again. Not sure. So if you have any questions, input or concerns, please leave a comment and it may be addressed in my next post or in a reply comment.

some parts of my life you may have missed.
(+) got drivers license
(+) got back together with Caleb :D
(+) got enrolled in college for next semester
(+) got financial aid taken care of for next semester
(+) getting enough financial aid to buy a car! and a few months of insurance
(+) I work in major appliances at Kmart now. Which makes me part of the "Kmart-Sears Blue Appliance Crew" and its so much less stressful.

Orientation today. It went well expect I found I need 500 bucks by August 25 to actually attend classes. So if you have any ideas of how I can come up with some extra cash [legally] let me know.
